En l’honneur du 30ème anniversaire de la mort des organistes aveugles Jean Langlais et Gaston Litaize, tous deux disparus à quelques semaines d’intervalle en 1991, cet article, publié le 31 Octobre 2021 par le magazine Internet bimensuel américain Vox Humana dans une traduction en anglais de Katelyn Emerson, retrace l’histoire mouvementée et très peu connue de l’Institut National des Jeunes Aveugles de Paris qui forma certains des organistes aveugles français les plus connus des 19e et 29e siècles.
