Unpublished sheet music

Unpublished sheet music by Jean Langlais

Since 2012, with the indispensable help of Richard Powell, several unpublished manuscripts by Jean Langlais have been transcribed into PDF and are now freely available, by request, from Marie-Louise Langlais (mail to ml.langlais@wanadoo.fr).

Richard Powell was born in Dorset and studied music at London University, Goldsmiths College. He moved to Norway in 1985, where he remained until 2017, working with choirs, giving organ concerts and playing for services in the Norwegian Lutheran Church. He now works freelance in the UK, composing, arranging and typesetting manuscripts, especially an important setting of unknown vocal music by Jean Langlais.
